What we found

The team assessed the full length of the ridge and found loose mortar, movement in several tiles and early signs of water getting in, so we recommended a complete grind-out and re-bed.

Grind out and re-bed

We removed the old mortar with dust-controlled tools, lifted each ridge tile and checked the tiles beneath. A strong sand and cement bedding went down, each ridge tile was set back straight, and a smooth pointing layer finished the job.

The result

A ridge line that is secure, weatherproof and ready for the next storm, helping to prevent leaks, damp and movement, and looking neater from the street.

Whole roof replaced, joists included

They were very quick for inspection and doing the job, competitive on price and did a good job in replacing the whole roof including joists and patching the concrete on the side. They cleaned up the space after and were prompt with communication. My only gripe is that they did not reattach the existing netting to how it was before, but it was just left semi-covering the space. Overall I would recommend them. I will try to post updates on the roof in the following years as well.
