Flat roofs in Crawley

Strip it back, sort the deck, then seal it properly.

A leaking flat roof over an extension, garage, dormer or balcony usually fails for one of three reasons: layers of old felt that have blistered and split, a deck that has gone soft underneath, or edges and upstands that were never sealed. We strip the failed covering right back, inspect the deck, replace any damaged boards and get the surface clean, level and sound before anything new goes down.

Then we lay a multi-layer torch-on felt system. Each layer is heated and fused so the finish is joint-free and watertight, it resists UV, standing water and heavy rain, and it needs very little looking after. Rooflights, trims, upstands and outlets are sealed as part of the job. On our Facebook page Francis also lists EPDM rubber and fibreglass flat roofs: tell us what you have and we will advise what suits it.

We have stripped and relaid flat roofs in East Grinstead and across the area, from rear extensions between terraces to a balcony roof. Ramazan S. wrote: done a great job on my flat roof, very happy. Garages, extensions, outbuildings and commercial units are all covered.
