A ridge that stays put in the wind, with no mortar to crack.
A traditional ridge is bedded in sand and cement. Over the years the mortar cracks, washes out and lets the ridge tiles rock, and in a storm they can lift off altogether. A dry ridge system fixes every ridge tile mechanically instead, with strong ridge unions, screw fixings and a breathable ridge roll underneath, so there is no mortar to fail.
Every job starts with a full inspection of the ridge line. We remove the old mortar safely, prepare a clean surface, fit the ridge batten and roll, then lock each ridge tile in place and check the line is straight. The roll lets the roof space breathe while keeping the ridge watertight, and the finished ridge resists wind uplift, does not crack and needs very little maintenance.

Whole roof replaced, joists included
They were very quick for inspection and doing the job, competitive on price and did a good job in replacing the whole roof including joists and patching the concrete on the side. They cleaned up the space after and were prompt with communication. My only gripe is that they did not reattach the existing netting to how it was before, but it was just left semi-covering the space. Overall I would recommend them.
