Stripped with care
The team stripped the old roof safely, lifting each tile by hand and saving every good tile for re-use. That cut waste and kept the house's original look. The rotten felt and damaged battens came off, and the rafters were renewed where they had failed.
A full upgrade underneath
New breathable felt went across the whole roof, then treated timber battens in straight, secure rows. Because the eaves needed better protection, we added an EPS drip tray system to guide water into the gutter and stop damp at the lower edge.
The original tiles back on, with new lead
The saved tiles were cleaned, checked and re-laid, with close-matching replacements only where needed. New leadwork protects the parapet wall and seals the key junctions. The result is a stronger, cleaner roof that keeps the home's character.
